Is this a medical diagnosis?
No. ScalpDecode is a visual pattern analysis tool for personal scalp health tracking. It is not a substitute for a dermatologist or medical professional.
How much does it cost?
A single premium report costs $19.99. We are also launching a membership option for unlimited scans and trend tracking.
What do the SCV scores mean?
SCV (Scalp Classification Values) measure four key metrics: Oil Balance, Surface Cleanliness, Scalp Comfort, and Hair Coverage. Each is scored 0-100 with a description of what was observed.
How accurate is the analysis?
Our assessment system is designed to identify visible scalp patterns like oil, flakes, redness, and hair density. Results should be used as a reference for tracking changes over time, not as a clinical measurement.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your images and data are encrypted and stored securely. We do not share your personal data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I track changes over time?
Yes. Your scan history is saved to your profile. Future scans are automatically compared to your baseline so you can see how your scalp health is trending.
What devices are supported?
ScalpDecode works on any modern smartphone browser (Safari, Chrome). For best results, use a device with a good camera and good lighting.
How do I get the best scan results?
Use natural or bright indoor light. Part your hair to expose the scalp. Keep the camera steady and follow the guidance during the scan.
Can I get a refund?
If a technical error prevents you from receiving your report, contact support@scalpdecode.com within 7 days for a refund. All other sales are final as the assessment is generated upon payment.
